Start the days off strong with a hearty breakfast from one of Greenville’s many unique and delicious restaurants. Then, explore Greenville’s breathtaking natural scenery while hiking or biking; there are so many locations to wander. Enjoy a filling lunch, often accompanied by live music, before delving back into the art scene. Finally, cap off the night by attending a show or relaxing at a local bar. Enjoy all Greenville has to offer!

Falls Park on the Reedy River

Friday

5 pm- Arrive & Check In:

  • Greenville has a plethora of excellent Airbnb options, especially through Book Greenville. For an increased price, hotels like the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Westin Poinsett are also available. 

6:30 pm- Eat Dinner at a Southern Staple

  • When in Rome… do as the Romans do! Visit one of the best Southern restaurants in downtown Greenville: Soby’s New Southern Cuisine or Tupelo Honey. Whether it's fried chicken or fried green tomatoes, they do it right. 

8 pm- Stroll Through Downtown to Falls Park

  • On the way to the bridge, take in the shops, street art, and lively atmosphere of Greenville, SC. 
  • Enjoy the sunset from Falls Park Bridge and stroll through the park to see striking views. 

10 pm- Enjoy Drinks Out on the Town

  • Keep the party going with a visit to a trendy bar, like Oak & Honey. 
  • Most bars offer live music for added entertainment. 
Hiking at Paris Mountain State Park

Saturday 

8 am- Start the Day with a Hearty Breakfast 

  • Fill up on luxury biscuits at either Biscuit Head or Maple Street Biscuit Company. 

9:30 am- Hike at Paris Mountain

  • Paris Mountain State Park is an optimal morning out trip because it is only 6 miles away from downtown! 
  • Other incredible hiking spots include Caesar’s Head State Park, Table Rock State Park, and Lake Hartwell. 

12 pm- Chill Out at Gather GVL

  • Sample food from one of their many eateries: Cafe Zorba, KO Burger, Mercado Cantina, Saki Saki, and The Lob Father. 

2 pm- Explore the Swamp Rabbit Trail

  • Walk, run, or bike the trail that leads from TR to Greenville. 
  • Reedy Rides offers affordable rentals. 
  • Be sure to stop by the Swamp Rabbit Cafe for a coffee or souvenir. 

4 pm- Discover Greenville’s Artistic Side 

  • Visit the Greenville Center for Artistic Arts for a free art exhibit. 
  • Artists Guild and Greenville Art Gallery are also quality locations for finding extraordinary pieces of art. 

5:30pm- Unwind at Up on the Roof

  • Experience a unique restaurant experience with killer rooftop views. 

7 pm-  Catch a Show 

  • The Peace Center, Bonds Secours Arena, and Greenville Theater always have something showing. 
Brunch @ Between the Trees

Sunday 

9 am- Brunch @ Between the Trees

  • Relax at the lounge and enjoy a luxury breakfast, overlooking Falls Park on the Reedy River. 

10:30 am- Visit a Museum

  • The Upcountry History Museum is an excellent place to spend the morning. Or, if looking to entertain children, the Children’s Museum of the Upstate has three stories of interactive exhibits to explore. 

12 pm- Relax at Coffee Underground

  • Whether you’re enjoying a light lunch or specialty coffee, Coffee Underground has a magnificent menu and cozy atmosphere. 

2 pm- Pack up and Depart

  • Pack up your souvenirs and memories; hopefully you get to visit again soon!
