This remodeled 3/2 ranch home has a surprising secret-- a lovely, finished, walk-out basement! The basement leads to a fenced in yard, perfect for your furry friends. We are pet friendly with a one time fee of $50 (to be requested after booking).Guest interaction
That's not all the home has to offer-- here is your own personal tour:
As you walk through the front door of our home, you'll immediately feel at rest and at peace. The living room is a delightful retro-modern mix with diverse textiles and one-of-a-kind furniture that is sure to invite reflection and conversation. The room also features a TV, with access to streaming services (no cable).
The living room flows into the dining room, where a beautiful tapestry graces the walls. An antique table sits four guests, and 3 bar stools seat the rest at the counter peninsula.
A remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, and fridge is the perfect place to whip up a meal for your family and friends.
Down the hallway there are three bedrooms.
The first on the left is what we call the "photo room." It features a Queen bed, small dresser, and closet. The wall is decorated with a beautiful collection of black and white photographs for you to enjoy.
Across the hall from this bedroom is the hall bath. Painted a dark green to stand out against the re-tiled floors and showers, this space is inviting and warm, featuring a toilet, single vanity, and a tub/shower combination.
At the end of the hall is the second bedroom. It features a handmade headboard and side rails for the queen bed, and has a closet, full decorative mirror, and a small dresser.
Finally, we come to the Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a Queen bed, closet space, large decorative mirror, a private deck and en suite bathroom. The deck features 2 wicker chairs, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a nightcap. The master bath contains a toilet, single vanity, and tub/shower combination.
Finally, we come to the basement.
This large, open space features 2 work areas, one that still is used by the artist owner on occasion (only when the home is unoccupied of course) and the second that is set up purely for guests. There is a large desk that can be adjusted for sitting or standing, and the room is full of books on art, sculpture, nature, and culture.
The basement also features a seating area. An Ikea sleeper sofa can be pulled out to a queen bed, and linens are provided for your use. There is a TV downstairs, and also, the exit to the fenced in backyard. The deck above covers a back patio, featuring a bistro table, porch swing, and picnic table for you to enjoy.
The Artist's Haven truly is an oasis in the middle of the city, and we can't wait to welcome you to it!
I tend to allow my guests to enjoy themselves without interruption, but am always just a message away through the app if needed.Neighborhood overview
The Chestnut Hills neighborhood is a middle-class neighborhood 3 miles from Downtown. Many families live here, and it is a great area for walks and walking your dog.Getting around
Greenville's public transportation leaves much to be desired. It is definitely recommended that you have a vehicle for your stay. For a night on the town, Uber is an affordable and safe option to get you to and from Downtown.
