Discover why Greenville is known to have the best nightlife at GVL's Hoppin New Year's Eve Party. Dance the night away to DJ Matt B while enjoying an open bar and Todaro's pizza. There are only 250 spots this year; last year they sold out FAST, so be sure to reserve your ticket online as soon as you can. Start the year off with a bang!
With breathtaking rooftop views overlooking downtown Greenville, Juniper's New Year's Eve Rooftop Gala is the epitome of elegance and style. Join this all-inclusive gala to enjoy all night dancing, champagne, and premium entertainment. The open bar includes high scale desserts and snacks that are sure to sweeten the night. Sing along with friends to the Steel Toe Stiletto Band, and find out why Juniper has been voted "Best Hotspot in SC" and "Best Scenic View and Ambiance" in Greenville, SC.
The new year is the perfect time to make resolutions for health and wellness; there is no better time to meet the challenge of a race. It is exhilarating! Join Resolution Run for a 5K, 3 hour, 6 hour, or 12 hour run. This is a self timed course; runners are encouraged to bring a mug to collect rocks as they finish their 1 mile laps around the park. Water and snack stations will be provided after the race, but be sure to hydrate beforehand. Enjoy the outdoors!
Another way to start the new year is by getting outside and enjoying the peaceful serenity of nature. On Monday, January 1st, several local parks are offering free tours of SC trails. CCC Lakeside, Lake Placid, and Wildcat Wayside Trail are all being toured at different times and with different levels of difficulty. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring water for the trip. And receive a First Day Hike sticker as long as supplies last.
This weekend, widen your perspective with a trip to the Art and Light Gallery to check out a newly opening exhibit from Shellie Crisp and Laurel Siwicki. In Woven Reflections, the artists "explore a mutual interest in weaving found objects into their work to create a deeper sense of narrative." Their unique pieces tend to reflect their emotional states and are expressions of personal journeys. Just by looking pictures of their works, it is clear to see that there are several interpretations that can be applied to their works. Come enjoy the blossoming art scene of Greenville, SC today!
