This weekend, Hotel Hartness is hosting a unique celebration of both European and Southern culture during their Euro Auto Festival. This charity weekend kicks off with their Rhythm and Roots concert, where individuals can enjoy a vibrant show and delicious, gourmet meal. Next, during the Upstate Grand Tour, see the rolling hills of Upstate SC in a new way: whilst zipping around in European Sports cars. It’s sure to take your breath away. Finally, during the Euro ‘25: The Original Hybrids event, get up close and personal with rare American, French, German and British cars, all feats of engineering. Cars, food, and entertainment? What’s not to love?
Bring out the baskets; it’s time for an egg hunt! The Salvation Army is hosting its 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt & Open House at the Kroc Center this weekend. After gathering brightly colored treasures in Kroc’s soccer field, be sure to visit the inside for open house activities: craft stations, gym games, and swimming. And for dinner, enjoy a $5 combo meal from the concession stand! Be sure to complete a waiver to participate. It is sure to be a lovely evening, filled with brightly colored Easter eggs and tasty treats for all.


Join the annual Eggtastic Easter Event this Saturday at Greer City Park for some old fashioned, home town fun. Throughout the afternoon, children ages 1-10 are invited to race, separated by age. Additionally, children are invited to enjoy free activities, such as inflatables, crafts, games, and mini golf. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase via food truck. Participants must register in order to participate, and don’t forget to bring your own egg collecting bag. This event runs from 11am-1pm on Saturday, April 12th. Happy hunting!
If you haven't had the opportunity to visit The Children’s Museum of the Upstate yet, it is definitely worth the trip, especially during their fun seasonal events. Join this Saturday from 9am-4:30pm for a special Easter Spring & Sprout day. Take pictures with the Easter bunny and pet sweet critters in their petting zoo. (You may even see a bunny or two). Amidst Easter activities, enjoy all of the typical, fun TCMU activities like building, creating, painting, climbing, and imagining. For this event, tickets are $16 for general admission and $13 for members. It’s easy to have a blast at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate.


This Saturday, head out to Trailblazer Park in TR for the Southern barbeque feast of a lifetime. For four hours, participants can wander around 15 unique bbq stations that have been carefully crafted by 35 local chefs and pit masters. Additionally, enjoy bottomless drinks (beer, wine, and spirits) as you shop from their artisan market and rock out to cheerful, live music. Proceeds will benefit the cause IDefine. It’s set to be a perfect day at Southern Roots: A BBQ Reunion.
