The Blue Dogs, the renowned Americana band from Charleston, SC, has been performing for more than 30 years, and is making a tour stop in Greenville, SC, this Saturday night. They have performed with legends like Willie Nelson, Hootie & the Blowfish, Jerry Douglas, and many more, entertaining the crowds with their own unique blend of bluegrass, country, and rock & soul. Join Bobby Houck, Hank Futch, Greg Walker, Dan Hood, and Charlie Thompson for a night of Southern jams. Tickets are $40 at the Peace Center.
No visit to Greenville, SC, is complete without a visit to the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Music Director Emeritus Edvard Tchivzhel will start the show with Gioachino Rossini’s Overture to William Tell. Next, the audience will be amazed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol. Finally, the show will end with Pyotr Il’yich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor. Tickets range from $20-79, depending on seating location. It’s a wonder to behold so many individuals moving as one, recognizing the musical geniuses of the past.
Toby McKeehan, known as Toby Mac on stage, is touring in Greenville, SC, this Sunday. This Christian contemporary singer and rapper has won seven GRAMMY awards, and is known for hits like “Speak Life,” “Lose my Soul,” and Love Broke Thru.” Toby Mac is excited to share a “crazy special” show, featuring guest artists and new songs. Tickets are on sale now for $15 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Legend has it that Peter Pan may not have arrived in Neverland simply by flying to the “second star on the right, and straight on till morning.” Discover Peter Pan’s complicated past during Centre Stage’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Peter and a crew of orphans have been shipped off to an evil king. There, they meet a Starcatcher named Molly who must protect the treasure on board, until the ship is seized by a pirate named Black Stache (later Captain Hook).
