Kid Rock says that, “Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America” and that’s especially true during Rock the Country Music Festivals. Join legends Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd and more for an unforgettable, two-day country music festival. Anderson, SC, is hosting the LAST stop of their summer tour this weekend, featuring spectacular performances for hardworking folks. Tickets start at $189, with an additional $60 for parking. There will be food trucks on sight, and $10 bag lunches sold, in order to not break the bank. From the grandkids to the grandparents, and everyone in between, this festival “is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America.”

Inspired by Bob Marley, Steel Pulse developed their own musical style and became “reggae revolutionaries.” Check out this unique genre of music during Steel Pulse’s concert at the Peace Center this Friday. For forty years, Steel Pulse has shared their vision for unification and fellowship, and are most known for their Mass Manipulation album. Renowned performer Jesse Royal will kick off the show at 7:30, followed by Steel Pulse. Lawn seating is $40, while VIP inside seating is $65. Beverages will be available for purchase. Bop along to the rhythm and let the music move you this Friday night.

Bow Wow! Calling all dog lovers, you’re invited to a weekend of canine competition. Join the Carolina Foothills Dog Show Cluster at the Greenville Convention Center to witness All Breed shows and Specialty competitions. Visitors are also welcome to shop from pet product vendors and participate in additional attractions. This is a free community event, though parking is $5. Experience something new, and cheer on all competing dogs at this weekend’s Dog Show.

“Inconceivable!” One of the best movies of all time, The Princess Bride, is being screened this weekend at the Peace Center. You’re invited to a surround sound adventure filled with monsters, miracles, and true love, where the twists keep coming. After the movie, enjoy a Q & A with Cary Elwes (Westly) himself! You’ll get the behind the scenes info on all things The Princess Bride. Enjoy the humor, satire, and romance in this movie adaptation of William Goldman’s novel, for its sure to please, whether you’re seeing the film for the first time, or the 100th time.

The American punk rock band Blink 182 dominated the music scene in the 2000s, much like Creed and Nickelback, and it still holds a place in many fans’ hearts. This weekend, they are debuting their newest album One More Time for audiences of all ages. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $36.50 at the Bond Secours Arena. Bring back the nostalgia!
