Every Thursday, we will highlight our ‘top 5 musts’ that will include everything from restaurants, activities, parks, concerts and festivals that are all right here in beautiful Greenville, SC.

One

In Greenville, SC, St. Patrick's Day is no joke. One of the biggest celebrations of the weekend is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which had its biggest turnout ever last year. It’s quite the captivating sight, with dancers, bagpipes, horses, trucks, and so much more. The parade starts at Noma Square at 10AM and snakes through downtown Greenville. Grab a coffee from Coffee Underground or Flying Fox Coffee before the parade starts to make it extra special! It’s a wonderful experience for children, families, couples, and friends to hang out and see something new.

Two

It’s your lucky day! Make this St. Patrick’s Day extra special during New Realm Brewing’s free, themed event. From 11AM-2PM, shop from the Farmer’s Market for unique treasures. Jam out to live music while enjoying a St. Patrick’s Day themed feast: food and drinks specials that will “make your heart as light as a song.” Greenville’s downtown location is a beautiful place to wander and unwind this holiday weekend.

Three

Keep calm and shamrock on at Group Therapy this St. Patty’s Day weekend. Enjoy live music, outdoor drinks, and drink specials that would make a leprechaun jealous. On March 15th, rock out to the live music from the JD Ross Duo, and on March 16th, check out the Trey Francis Band. Wear your best green attire and come enjoy this free, family friendly event at Camperdown Plaza.

Four

Enjoy the luck of the Irish at Fireforge’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. A hardcore Celtic rock band, Drop O’ the Pure, will be playing from 2-5pm, featuring modern covers with a twist. Leave the cooking at home; this weekend only will feature St. Patrick Day themed delicacies like Bangers & Mash, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Corned Beef Brisket Reuben, Irish Toasties, Soda Bread, and Potato Leek Soup. Fireforge will also be open on Monday, specifically for St. Patrick’s Day, to keep the fun moving into next week.

FIve

Forty years ago, in response to mindless pop, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain was born. Come experience the rich blend of acapella and four ukuleles, no need for lights, drums, or keyboards here. Tickets range from $15-35 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on March 18th. There’s something for everyone: Nirvana, Tchaikovsky, Bluegrass, Broadway; they do it all.
