An old Irish saying declares that, "There are only two kinds of people in the world: the Irish and those who wish they were." The beauty of St. Patrick’s Day is that everyone is invited to join in the festivities of Irish culture and traditions, regardless of their country of origin. So don your green, and come on out this Saturday to enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in downtown Greenville. The parade will start at 10am on Main Street at the West End and end in NOMA square. Last year was one of the biggest turnouts in the event’s history, so be sure to set up your folding chairs early for optimal seating.

Just 20 minutes away from the bustling city of Greenville is the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest (or TR for locals). Shop from more than 60 local craftsmen, selling items like art, pottery, jewelry, leather goods, and more. While exploring, check out TR’s charming shops and restaurants! There’s always something happening at TR; join in the fun today!

General admission is $10 at the door; children 12 and under are free. Rock out to music as you shop, and celebrate punk with like-minded souls.
