While exploring the streets of downtown Greenville, it is fairly common to come across bubbling social events, such as the Saturday Farmer’s Market, Artisphere, or Jazz festival. In fact, Greenville offers more than 300 “event days” every year. One of the most relaxed and enjoyable events is the PNG Downtown Alive series. Every Thursday night, locals and visitors flood North Main Street for a night of music and community. While listening to local bands, patrons can choose to purchase beer in order to support the Metropolitan Arts Council. While the event spans from 5:30-8:30, the bands will begin playing at 5:50 and 7:20. Pack a chair and a snack, and come out to enjoy the city like a local!
