Be transported back to the time of dinosaurs at Dinosaur Adventure this weekend. Enjoy interactive exhibits, dinosaur themed rides, and a fossil dig at the Greenville Convention Center. Children’s tickets are $35, and adult tickets are $25. Come experience gigantic, realistic dinosaurs that come to life, an engaging experience for the whole family!

Greer’s Farmer’s Market is extra special this week with the addition of a Chili Cook Off! Enjoy booths filled with seasonal produce, pastured meats, handmade gifts, food trucks, baked goods, and more. Jam out to music while exploring Greer City Park; spread out a picnic blanket to people watch for a relaxing evening. Don’t forget to grab a warm bowl of chili and vote for your favorite chef!

The Peace Center welcomes the storytelling acrobatic group known as The 7 Fingers on November 7th. It will be a thrilling show, aimed at “telling human stories with superhuman skills.” “Passengers” will tell the story of “reunions and goodbyes” from strangers on a train station; they will communicate through theater, dance, music, and hair raising acrobatics. Ticket prices vary. Enjoy entertainment in downtown Greenville that has all the thrill and excitement of a circus… without the clowns.

Friday Starry Nights at the Roper Mountain Science Center take observers “to infinity and beyond.” Explore the wonders of the universe in the Hooper Planetarium, “a 360° full immersion dome” that includes “4K projection, state-of-the-art lighting, dynamic 5.1 surround sound and more.” This three dimensional journey will take observers through the solar system, stopping to admire stars and planets not visible to the naked eye.
