Experience Main Street in a whole new way this weekend during the “largest food and music festival in the Upstate.” Explore menu options from over 60 restaurants and 50 beer taps in a casual setting. Taste Tickets can be purchased at stations throughout the festival for 5$ per sheet. Rock out to 80+ bands stationed at 6 different stages. Kids’ entertainment includes carnival style rides, such as a Fun Slide, Wacky Slide, Toddler Town, and swings. Don’t be surprised if you Fall for Greenville this weekend.

Masquerades are for Cinderellas and Zoros, for those who wish to hide behind a mask of intrigue, if only for a night. Visit City Scape Winery this Friday night for a masked costume party from 6:30-9pm. Dance to a live DJ and enjoy the pasta & salad bar for a lively Friday night. Between dances, check out the 864 Mobile Cigar Lounge for a cigar or swing by Lasting Adornment for a free bracelet to keep as a souvenir. Experience all the romance and mystery of a masquerade this weekend!

It’s Carnival Family Day this Saturday at Social Latititude’s Playground & Pub! Get ready for an awesome day of games, prizes, face painting, contests, and a dunk tank! Tickets are $10 and food/beverages will be available for purchase. In addition to Carnival Family Day, Social Latitude offers fun things to do year round, like participating in sports simulations and ax throwing. It’s a trendy hangout spot on Woodruff Road that doesn’t require one to fight the traffic of downtown Greenville.

Join Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the whole Sesame Street gang for a live performance at the Peace Center this Saturday. Sing along to beloved Sesame Street songs and experience the magic of the neighborhood like never before. Join the Sesame Street crew as they search for Elmo’s lost puppy, Tango, stopping to say “Hello” to cherished characters along the way. Tickets start at $30, and all participants must have a ticket, regardless of age. Be advised that the show will include lights, confetti, and smoke. Get ready to sing your heart out to “La, La, La, La… That’s Elmo’s World!!”

Have you ever wondered about the processes that artists use to create their pieces? If so, you’re in luck. Greenville is celebrating its 22nd annual Greenville Open Studios event, in which participants can tour the studios of local artists. During this self-guided tour, individuals can peruse 98 studios, and see artwork from 143 different artists. This is a free event that aims to “open up the world of visual artists to everyone – from the seasoned collector to the first-time art buyer to the curious general public.” Come ask questions and build community!
