One

One of Greenville’s oldest and dearest neighborhoods is coming to life this weekend for its 3rd annual Hampton-Pinckney PorchFest. Attendees are welcome to hop from porch to porch, enjoying performances from more than 20 music artists. Enjoy all types of music: singer/songwriter, strings, jazz, and more. In addition to entertainment, Artisan Village will host local craft vendors and food trucks, such as Local Pie, Sunrise Bakes, Clare’s Creamery, Pangea Brewing Company, and more! Food and beverage tickets can be purchased online or on site for $6 per ticket. This is a free event for the community; the goal is a mutual appreciation of local music and architecture. Be sure to bring your folding chairs and blankets!

Two

Boo! It’s spooky season at the Greenville Zoo. For a limited time, attendees are invited to trick or treat in the zoo amongst a wide variety of exotic animals. Stroll through Dragon Alley, Alice’s Fun House, a princess castle, and an extinct species graveyard, collecting candy along the way. Costumes are encouraged. Trick or treat tickets are $12; non trick or treat tickets are $10. Note, there is a $2 upcharge for purchasing tickets at the window, so be sure to purchase tickets online ahead of time. Boo babies (0-1), who are not participating in collecting treats, are free. Start a new family tradition this year: visit Boo in the Zoo!

Three

An ice skater gliding over ice is magical; it is even more so when a group of ice skaters glide in formation with a single goal: win. This Saturday kicks off the ice hockey season with our local Swamp Rabbit team facing off against the Norfolk Admirals. Enjoy sign making, interactive games, and music in the spacious Bonds Secours Arena. Bonds Secours has a clear bag policy, and be sure to bring a coat. Tickets start at $22. See you there!

Four

No one does country better than the South; because of that, they know how to throw the best country music festivals. This weekend’s Greenville Country Music Fest welcomes Cody Johnson Midland, Brooks Dunn, Luke Grimes, and more, to the stage. Dance, jump, and sing along to live country music, come rain or shine. CCNB’s Amphitheater at Heritage Park is a spacious outside venue in which attendees bring their own seating, such as folding chairs and/or blankets. Food vendors will be in attendance, offering goods such as giant pretzels and ice cold lemonade. Tickets prices vary depending on the day; VIP and super VIP options are also available. Children 10 and under are free. Don’t miss out on this rocking good time.
