Greenville’s Track Club will be holding this event in Flour Field, offering a 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, or Marathon. Chip timing will be used to determine age group winners directly after the race. One of Greenville’s oldest and dearest neighborhoods is coming to life this weekend for its 3rd annual Hampton-Pinckney PorchFest. Attendees are welcome to hop from porch to porch, enjoying performances from more than 20 music artists. Enjoy all types of music: singer/songwriter, strings, jazz, and more. In addition to entertainment, Artisan Village will host local craft vendors and food trucks, such as Local Pie, Sunrise Bakes, Clare’s Creamery, Pangea Brewing Company, and more! Food and beverage tickets can be purchased online or on site for $6 per ticket. This is a free event for the community; the goal is a mutual appreciation of local music and architecture. Be sure to bring your folding chairs and blankets!
