This skunk does not stink! The Albino Skunk Music Festival, or “Skunkfest,” is coming to Greenville October 5th-7th at The Skunk Farm. It will host acoustic music styles such as Americana, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Alternative Country, Roots, and Bluegrass. Come enjoy local foods, adult beverages, and craft stations. Children are invited to explore Kiddieland, featuring a playground, children activities, kid shows, and a drive in movie. Participants can sign up for a “De Tour De Skunk Charity Bike Ride” for an additional fee. Tickets start at 30$ but check the link below for a more detailed description of ticket prices.
Established in 1997, The Cook’s Station is a staple of Greenville to anyone who has a passion for food. Locals shop for kitchenware, eat at the cafe, and attend affordable cooking classes here. This Saturday, The Cook’s Station is hosting a free Fall Festival with tent sales, food/wine tastings, and live music. This pop up event is running from 9-5pm. It will be a relaxed afternoon of quality conversations and chill vibes while walking the streets of Greenville. There’s something for everyone at the Station!
Oak and Honey is sophistication personified. Known for its signature cocktails and intimate mood lighting, this bar and restaurant is the ideal spot for a classy night out with friends. This weekend features live music performances by Bobby Weidman and Terrance Day. Terrance Day will be playing songs from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, along with a few originals. Don't leave this event without trying their show stopping desserts.
Spooky season is officially here, and with it comes the Halloween Headbangers, three rock bands that are sure to rock your socks off. Rising Regime, Second Life, and Trashator have been known to cause goose bumps due to their booming vocals, drums, bass, and more. Doors open at 7pm at the Inchoate Art Gallery. The price of admission is $15; this includes a drink of your choice. Come rock out!
Calling all lovers of pickles: the annual Piedmont Pickle Festival is coming to town. It will be held from 12-9pm at Carolina Bauernhaus in Greenville. This event offers pickle merchandise, pickle tastings, and pickle activities. A Hot Brine Pickling class will be taught at 12pm, followed by a “Pickle Tournament Pow Pow,” and Piedmont Pickle Costume Contest. Entertainment includes an open mic from 2-5pm and live music performances by Quasi Quasar from 5-8pm. Be sure to stop by the Paws of Pickle Pup adoption station to show some love to the Carolina Loving Hounds association and their furry friends. General admission is $10; VIP admission is $45. Enjoy the simple life: eat more pickles!
